for the first time on friday i drank so much alcohol in one go.

i dont drink alcohol..but omg i am now sooo addicted to baileys.

i want more.

on thursdays i travel home with my boss. we were talking about food and she knows i like baking so she asked me ..trinh whats your signature dish?..i couldnt think of anything. then she asked me. ..ok if i asked you to come to my dinner and bring a dish what would you bring..and again i was speechless..she was a bit..okk?..lolll
made me sad. i mean after all these years of cooking and baking..i dont even have a dish that id like to cook to bring to someones dinner let alone..a signature dish. sigh. lol. i couldnt even say my fav dish i made by myself is chilli crab and id bring that to her dinner because shes vegetarian! lol.

so now im on my search to bake, and find that 'signature' dish. ...but im stuck. dont know where to start. dont know what i want to cook.. help.

what else should i do during this winter break. work out? finish knitting my scarf? finish my art project? ..mmm. i need inspiration.

o blogger. how ive neglected you.
ive been sooo lazy. once again i come back to you whining about all the memories ive forgotton.. poop
well lets start with today.

today. i went to thys house starving. waited for C and A come. during that time me n t could of baked a cake ate the cake and still have time to watch a movie. loll
well when they finally arrived we went to eat at nandos. ngoc (t's housemate also joined us) we went back to watch A garden and plant thys new baby, the pear tree. we then played taboo, c went home to work then we took forever to find a movie that worked (the orphanage) watched a bit before i went home to do chores and dinner.
=) what a nice day today.

it was gardening gardening gardening and gardening. its that time of year. green waste collection week. and zomg. we have HEAPS of trees to prune, weeds leaves dead trees in our garden to get rid of. so that took all day. our back neighbour has this tree. not sure what it is but it hangs over the fence into the our garden. this tree has pink/purplish round fruits. im not sure if theyre fruits but whatever they are..theres heaps. and its just sooo much mess along our fence. so yesturday i stood there staring at the tree wishing that the neighbour would just chop it down.
MY WISH CAME TRUE THAT EVENING. i didnt even know they were asian! lol. well anyways he was up there chopping the tree away ^^ ..created more mess during the process of chopping it down. but in the long run im sooo happy haha.

today is sonny's birthday. happy birthday darling. this morning on my quest to clean up his golden nuggets ...
i saw a flock of pigeons doing their regular flying routine so i stopped and watched. all u can hear is the morning silence and the flapping of their wings.. sonny obviously joined me. . soo..zen? i wish i could retire already. LOL.
although i do not miss keeping pigeons as pets..at all. loll

sonny has always loved flying objects. helicopters, aeroplanes and birds. lol he would sit upright and alone in the backyard watching the sky waiting for something..

i took sonny for a walk so far and now back to gardening.

the other day i was sitting under the sun picking off all the strawberry guava fruits from the huge broken branch on the grass. that took me forever. i chucked out most of them what a waste. but noone eats them. lol after picking all the fruits i had to break all the branches sonny hellped me. lol. ive never seen a dog have so much fun playing with branches with twigs and all. my persimmon tree is ..dying. i picked off all its leaves. no fruits this year.
dad dug a huge hole. a metre deep by maybe 3m. were planning to bury everything..that is green waste..

its a nice day today. hope everyone is out getting some sun.

o dear so yesturday i went to meet up with joey jen rose and linda.y at inu bar at uni. some glitch was going on in my mind when i saw joey's sister rip out a birthday cake. i was like o right so were celebrating it today (thinking it was sometime ages ago..) so when joey finished working and made us all hot chocolate or mochas. i said happy belated birthday. she gave me a confused expression but i just beamily smiled at her..lol i later found out at night that it was her real birthday. .. im such a goose. i love her carrot cake. brought some home and it was yummy for breakfast this morning . linda bought her assorted choux pastry frm brunetti..mm i tried the lemon meringue not..me. it was sickly too sweet.

on wednesday 13th.4:

was falling asleep studying so smsd jen and luckily she was free! met up with her and went to get the paper at union house. a new bakery opened downstairs in the basement we decided to check it out. to me it was quite cheap but everything tasted the same..very light soft and asianee. lol. it was nice. i bought a mexican bun?? which is supposedly a coffee bun with cream butter filling. there was zero filling. the overall bun was..i wouldnt buy it again. jen bought a chicken curry bun ( i think ) and a chocolate tart. she didnt enjoy her curry bun. lol. then i was still hungry so i decided to buy something at egg sake bistro. chicken. bamboo. ramen. something lol. it was OK. OK for $7. i prefer dondon. lol. i got a free inari. that was cool i guess..haha. then we went to move john's car. it was raining. and johns roof was LEAKING. i had a free shower. biggest wth loll. out of nowhere as jen turned the car all this water came pouring down. last time something like that happened i was in the carwash with thy and her brother. i love leaking cars.

happy easter everyone. i mean..whatever ppl say during easter. is it supposed to be a happy event? didnt jesus die on this day? i miss having to study the bible..o.o im a buddhist, but i went to a catholic primary and first few yrs of highschool. so the bible became a huge part of my life.. i knew about it more than buddhism. i never liked RE classes, but i liked it when the teacher read the bible..it was interesting..

today is friggin freezing. im going to study. behind in my lectures and reports as usual. primary school kids start school next week which means back to tutoring and i haven't even started correcting their work. jollyjoy

yesturday me and fatty sorted things out. it'll definitely be harder in the future..but atm im like a little lost fish with a weak heart...hopefully by then i have evolved into a shark.. n i will be able to let it go.

we went to meet up with jen on bridge road and shopped. found a fancy little supermarket and got full from all the free taste testing stations. LOL - -. fatty bought what was it..garlic aioli? and apparently i quote " its a revelation"

so fatty has a best friend. his name is anel. lol. anel is a funny man. together they're hilarious in a cute lame way haha
so i met up with fatty and a. and we decided to go have lunch. a suggested 'HEYDAY' ...for some reason in my head i was imagining a bar..like the lion's hotel..but as we turned into china town..and turned again into an alleyway i saw it..a sign saying 'HEYDAY'. so ok interesting. thinking that it was any other normal asian restaurant i followed the lameasses into the restaurant..
O.O..it was TINY!. only a couple of tables and chairs. packed into one small room. ok whatever sat down and read the menu and ordered.well they ordered. lol looked to my left and upfront..there i saw asians ordering spaghetti in an asian restaurant. loll. maybe there's something wrong with me but u dont go into an asian restaurant to order spaghetti. loll it looked so authentic..as authentic as HEINZ spaghetti. in fact i am convinced that they use the cans. loll.
a loves eating this dish there..it was o k not the BEST. sorry a. u know i still love you ;)

would i go again..hmm.

lol last wednesday (13/4) i went to rmit to study. two things happened.

FIRST
I was extremely tired so i decided to take a nap. my head rested on the desk on my crossed arms. even tho i was 'sleeping' i knew and heard everything around me. then, i heard a voice go excuse me. i ignored. then i heard that voice go is she ok? is she sleeping?..i knew it was me. i bolted up and saw this guy standing there going o hi are u using your computer? can i use it to print? me still half asleep thinking (are u serious omg.) but i told him yeh go ahead. he made small talk 'hey what are u studying? yeh you should take a break every now and then huh?' me smiling and politely replying but i was just pleading inside to quickly print and go away..out of all the computers including the catalogue computers..he chooses to wake up the asian girl and use her computer zzzz.

SECOND:
a group of vietnamese internationals sat next to me.. lol what they did next just made my day. she took out a piece of newspaper and a box milo cereal, poured a mountain on the newspaper and started eating from it...all her friends did. sitting beside the monitor was a bottle of milk. loll i dont know if u find this weird but it was a really strange site to see from me. LOL i took a photo on my mob but i cant seem to connect it to the comp. loll
o internationals u never cease to amaze me with your ways.

to get into bailieu library you have to to the elevators via the old commerce building get off at level three walk back down to level 1 computers. well this is where i go anyways. its isolated from everything and hasslesome to leave and come back. so im 'stuck' here until i HAVE to leave .

went to the biomed library and quickly finished my prac report. went to class. another prac report due next friday. sigh. today's prac was rather bludgy just looked at slides and jotted down 'notes' prac partner left first whilst i stayed back ~~doing~~ sitting there. left the lab. went to mc. met up with brian pp n thy. we went to acmi lol. there was a free mini maze as part of the comedy festival..but the line was long so we didn't go. someone thought you had to pay and we were like o were just gonna walk in. ok? dont worry just dont make eye contact they dont even check most of the time. and this certain someone was SOOO stressed and sweating and was like this isnt right we have to pay. lol. some ppl. we wondered around the place aimlessly.

decided to go eat kfc. t and b went to maccas. we bid farewell. the sweet potato chips at kfc..ive been waiting and eager to try it ..but after today. NEVER ever again. it was yuck. made me sad.

today was the last day of tutoring for this term.

i have one student in particular who loves giving me hand pick flowers from the pavement outside the classroom door, paper stars, hugs and love. today in particular during their 5 minute break ..she was excitedly telling me how everyone thinks her little sister is cute but she hates her and then she was like CAN I TELL YOU A SECRET ABOUT HER. she motioned me to bend down so she could whisper in my ear..

lolol. dont think she knows what whispering is cos it i'm pretty sure it was close to screaming.. the best part of it all ..chewed up bits and pieces of chips in her mouth were flying out and i can feel her breath and everything else on the side...of my face .. it was such a special moment. gotta love kids.

yesturday 28th/2

Uni started. first and only lecture and the lecturer didnt come..zzz

met up with cc, linda.y, jenn, john, their friend, and fatty.

went to shop by myself and bought basics. no shoes or clothes =(

went to eat at grilled. supposedly there was a buy one get one free deal but fatty said it was expired so we didnt get that deal. only to find out at night that the deal was still on...zzz

went to eat a lemon meringue..it was yummy. but the slice was friggin huge. so we didnt finish.yumyumyum my first lemon meringue.

I am already dreading uni... arts subjects..they can be fun they can be interesting but frick there is sooo SO SO much reading. I also have a prac subject which goes for 5 hrs on a friday.. and i have to write a prac report EACH WEEK for it TT on top of that..everything else.. lol. i guess im just whinging over nothing.

o life.

just want to fast forward to retirement.. and i laughed when i heard fatty told me that..but that was four years ago..

on the 25th of Feb. went on a so called romantic double date. we went kayaking down a river. loll to be honest it wasnt so bad. besides the tiredness from rowing and gettting wet. it was really nice =) but maybe not again anytime soon. haha

so i started volunteering at the hospital today..everything was meant to be..i like my volunteer coordinator hes pretty cool.. but thennnn BUT THEN.. i find out that we were waiting for another volunteer. turns out it was a vietnamese fob guy..but i didnt mind or anything.. well we went on with orientation.. so took photos for our new ID badges and had a tour of all the ward's where we were going to work in..there was also a vietnamese patient undergoing dialysis so my volunteers coordinator asked me to go over and have a chat in vietnamese..zomg. ok so i did. i thought the other viet guy was gonna chat away cos it was vietnamese..but noo he stood there..so here i am trying my best to think of stuff to say in vietnamese.. - - horrible..well that was it for the day. we both signed out. ...and lucky for me he too needed to go to the station ..yay ..TT

well we walked and talked until..we needed to go on opposite platforms..he asked me if he could have my number so he can practice talking to me in english...fair enough i gave him my number ...

went to my platform and sat down..busy messaging thy until i recieved a call ..FROM HIM. he goes to me 'hiiii i can see you!'' me..ummm where are u? and there he was just sitting opposite to me..zomg i was so ..r u friggin serious ...

volunteering at the hospital is gonna be GREAT with my new fob friend...eeesh

so yesturday was my cousin's 18th birthday party. her theme: hollywood red carpet. i dropped mum and dad off at her place and took my brother to the avenue so he could buy his chicken and chips. didnt want to attend the party because it would have been very awkward... well anyways. the highlight of last night was when mum called me to pick her and dad up.
i dont know what went thru my mind during that time but i was in the cbs mode. so i didnt change out of my silky asian pyjamas..for all of you who dont know ..the only car dad trusts me driving is our big red tarago van..
as my car turned into her street there were no parking it was packed..the only place i saw that was suitable was the driveway..so into the driveway i went..girls and guys dressed for the red carpet- left and right up ahead and behind stared at me with the wtf expression ...me sitting there going..great. just great. loud music. colourful lights. disco balls. red carpet. there were ppl everywhere. groups sitting there drinking and laughing not to mention the few that were dead on the floor and out onto the road.. they were all just staring at me..seeing what i was going to do next.
what did i do? i sat there with my brother waiting for mum and dad to come out. and they took their sweet ass time as well...
so i comforted myself by saying that noone can see me in here its dark. until dad opened the door and BLING the friggin light in the car goes on. right there for the world to see.. a little asian girl in her blue pjs driving the big red van.

celebrated my uncles birthday on tuesday 21/12. bought him a cake, a wallet and my aunty a scarfe a purse and some cream. mum dropped the cake in the box so i had to do my best to fix it which was scrape off all the frosting and piping it again.

met up with the chem eng losers on 20/12. i missed cc cos i came late. but laughter and gifts was exchanged. I was thy's KK and she gave me a cardi, a recipe book and a snowglobe! gayson also gave everyone a christmas sock filled with gifts

hello blogger.
i havent blogged in a while because ive simply been too busy..and very lazy.
each and everyday since the holidays initiated i have been working..working at home.. 6 hrs a day ..feeding and caring for dads friggin fishes.
so many memories have vanished ..just lingering somewhere in my brain waiting for someone to probe it .. what i do recall is..i should of studied a lot harder despite staying up later than my usual bedtime cramming, bought my first glittery allanah hill cardigan .. im noting that now because i destroyed the shiny sequin things on it with the strap of my bag TODAY...
TODAY i also went on a helicopter ride with t; LOL..i must say it is the worse experience ever..we both went off the heli wanting to vomit ..
i am now officially 22 yrs old.. for my birthday so far i got a pair of oroton sparkly shoes! a krumpler bag. an epilator.a new phone.
i havent even celebrated it with my friends yet..which is quite sad indeed lol.
i have been watching a lot of tv series like hellcats, bones (season 6), gossip girl, the big bang theory, merlin, glee..

today we went to +39 voted best pizza of the year 2010, the age epicure..was it the best pizza?..mmmm it certainly is cheap but i wouldn't say the best..it was an average everyday pizza to me.. we ordered a something and something...lol the actual name of the pizza's are on the menu in the shop..;) before leaving we also bought a apple cinnamon custard tart??

so we ventured out to corrs lane and entered sichuan house..i was greeted by a waiter who had a frantic stressed expression..he spoke to me in some language and expected me to respond..and so i did.." sorry I don't speak chinese " the other being with me somehow understood LOL and we were soon seated.. she was very sad with the whole atmosphere, the menu and who knows what else..but we ordered anyways..the eggplant dish and the porked cooked twice?? dish.. and it was a very sad experience indeed...to me the flavours ...what flavours?? it tasted like..i dont know..tasteless fried food?? heaps of oil. there was a taste but it was ..lacking. the eggplant was a surprise they were coated in a batter and deepfried..the texture was good..if only they had better seasoning i guess..the other being's dish was worse..for us the highlight was the fresh orange SERIOUSLY it was super sexy..don't know if they put any weird preservative on it to keep it fresh but..zomg ze best orange piece ever

i went on a walk this morning with sonny. i really should do this more often.
last night i helped mum make banh bo. lol translated to english it is called cow cakes. lol it has no cow products in it..just flour and coconut milk and sugar and yeast. so why is it called cow cakes??
i also went to footscray yesturday..my sister had a haircut and chopped it all off..she looks..beautiful xD
a week has gone by and i have done zero work..

started knitting my scarf again because there were too many holes.

last night i managed to make a hole in my new scarf..but im restraining myself from starting again because if i keep starting again ill never finish. its my first scarf anyways =D

met up with jen john rose linda.t linda y at inu bar. we had lunch - everyone ordered a parma except the lindas. teng ordered a salad and young ordered fish and chips. then i went to volunteer and teng came with me. she also had her hearing tested..i should get my hearing tested too.. now she will be volunteering with me. we are newsletter editors. lol.

the parmas are $8 on wednesdays..and i think its pretty good.

for the first time in a long time i stayed up past midnight doing homework. my prac report was due monday and as usual i left it to the last minute. i love my prac group. its small but we all help each other its just a happy loving group. i find it really sad that this is their last year and i wont see them anymore..especially kim and kim. theyre going back to malaysia. but i guess thats life friends come and go.. =)

well monday was over.

and that night i learnt how to KNIT! woo. i find it shocking that i didnt know how to knit until that night..

it took me forever to get the hang of it..mum was just zooming away and i was still struggling on doing the slip knot and casting on TT

once i got used to it tho and saw my success..the feeling was pure bliss..LOL dont u just love that feeling..the feeling of accomplishment..=) im just sad thres no enough yarn to knit a scarfe TT..

the yarn i chose was multicoloured so to start off.. it was meant to be this light purpley pink colour..but as i was learning and kept screwing up - i snipped it and chucked it in the bin...all that colour is gone.

holiday break my ass..i have all these assignments due as soon as we hit uni in less that two weeks..not to mention the 4 weeks of lectures i missed due to doing assignments ..so need to catch up on that..

well today..today ..

ive been told that some cartoonist designed christmas cards for this year's fundraising event.. everything was done and finalised when I first came to the place so i had no idea what the designs were who designed them etc.. today they came in..and i was shocked..

i feel bad for not liking them and i feel bad for wishing i came in early to add some things..

to everyone they are wonderful....i talked to the queen about it..and she just hit some wake up call button in my head...think before being so critical and condescending.

i was expecting wayy too much and not everyone is artistic and i should really respect that..EVEN if they carry the title cartoonist on their forehead..

apart from that I worked with tim today..he needs special attention and care and is very quiet and shy. so i was teaching him how to use the internet..and touch type.. (man even i cant touch type) but he wanted to so i just found an online program and he typed away..then he got bored so i introduced him to the world of youtube. LOL - - then we sat there youtubing.. and then i asked if he wanted to learn anything else online..and hes like ..like what? and i sat there going..yehhh i dont really know what else.. hmmm

recently ive been so stressed about report writing and midsems..im so disappointed with my report.. i spent one whole week on it and its not even good enough zzzz

omg so when im on the train and i hear people's music BLASTING through their earphones i always go omg are you deaf?..but then today i did the exact same thing

..i was listening to my music and even tho i did ask myself if my music was too loud i just stood there listening and surfing on the train

..i only found out that the music was too loud when i took my earphones off in the library and i can still hear the music playing away..

i guess u just dont notice.

btw..i CANNOT use earphones like these..(in-ear ones)..where u stuff it in ur ears.. i cant even use the squishy in ear ones..where its like a foamy thing and u squish it put it in ur ear and it expands to shape ur ear hole - or something like that LOL....heck i cant even use normal earphones like the apple ones..i think my ears are demented they're ugly too..i have unfixed earlobes.
mum: "TRINH you have earlobes are ugly ..infact you have none u can't wear earings hahahah"
me: "thanks mum"

i just went to aldi because I got off the wrong stop after taking t to uni. i also bumped into michelle.p! how random but it was awesome seeing her =) shes sooo cool
anyways back to aldi.. i browsed around and thought ..ok ill buy something..saw banana chews and decided to buy it cos i LOVE THEM..i also bought these orange mints which are crap .. luckily its only a dollar. LOL. so were the bananas.

well the main reason as to why i am writing this post is because i think i OD' on the banana chews..my head is spinning and my butt hurts so

omg thy ate some and she felt the same way! minus the butt bit..but she felt loopy and whatnot..ive concluded these lollies are DANGEROUS
but o so yummy

today i discovered the difference between liners and ultra thins..
i have always thought ultra thins were the thinnest you can go..until today

i needed to buy some and i had no breaks so stuck at uni i decided to go to foodworks ..being cheap ..i decided to go for the cheapest which was the carefree liners. opened them and had a heart attack. i stared at them going ...omg..are u serious..
they were POONEY. its pads for KIDS!

met up with thy at mc and told her about them..she gave me a 101 on liners and ultra thins. LOL what are friends for =D
